Collections Representative

Smith Haynes & Watson, an industry leader in Collections, is expanding and currently seeking experienced collectors. We offer competitive pay plus commission, paid bi-weekly.

Responsibilities
• Managing inbound and outbound calls
• Skip tracing
• Data entry
• Negotiating payment plans and processing payments
• Ensures Collection activities are in compliance with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and FTC policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Strong ability to negotiate and persuade
• Ability to process and manage a large volume of calls
• Prior experience in collections or working in a phone center a plus
• Positions are days, evenings, and weekends
• We offer competitive pay plus commission, paid bi-weekly
• Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
