Q. How much does your service cost?
A. No Fees! At SHW we work on a contingency basis meaning we incur the normal collection
costs in order to recover your funds. We will then remit a certain percentage of
the collected debt based on the type of paper.
Q. What is your procedure for collection?
A. A typical file will go through the following procedure: The file is formatted
and imported into our collection software. A letter validating the debt is sent
to the consumer. Auto and manual dialing campaigns will follow as we try to work
out payment arrangements with the consumer. Throughout the process, various skip
tracing techniques are used to update consumer information.
Q. Are there any upfront fees or sign up charges?
A. No fees or upfront charges.
Q. Do I have to sign a contract to place accounts with you?
A. We will ask you to sign an agreement that you may opt out of at any time given
the proper notice.
Q. What area do you collect in?
A. We can make collection efforts in every state.
Q. Do you require a certain number of accounts to be placed?
A. We ask that you fill out an application or speak with one of our sales specialists
to determine if your debt is a proper fit. At SHW we take pride in using our experience
to act as consultants for your portfolio.
Q. How far can you go back on accounts?
A. Our in house scoring systems will allow us to implement unique strategies on
older accounts.
Q. Do you send accounts to attorneys?
A. We have a national network of attorneys that we can use upon your request.
Q. How long have you been in business?
A. The company was founded in 2006 and our knowledgeable staff has been in the business
for a combined 10 years.
